School for Social Entrepreneurs Graduation

On Thursday 2nd April founder of We Create* , Richard Leighton, graduated from the School for Social Entrepreneurs - London. The graduation was held at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre on London's South Bank.
The event saw 41 students graduate off the 2008/9 Block and Weekly courses become fellows of the School.
The day began at 1.00pm arriving for registration and refreshments followed by a welcome and introduction from the Staff members of the School. A break was followed by graduates presenting a 4/5minute...some more like 7/8 - presentation to the 2/300 at the ceremony about their projects.
Presentations were followed by a reflection on the year and speech from the Minister for the Third Sector, Kevin Brennan MP and David Adair the Head of Community Affairs at PricewaterhouseCoopers. After students were awarded their Certificates of Fellowship at 4.30pm was time to socialising and networking into the evening.
And a chance to get a nice photo of Richard taken with his mom and dad!
